Below are important dates relating to the upcoming 2020 Central Northland Science & Technology Fair.

AGM – 4pm, Wednesday 4th March 2020
The AGM will be held in the Library, Whangarei Boys’ High School at 4.00pm. All Science & Technology Teachers should plan to attend. This is your opportunity to influence the Science Fair Committee!
Registration forms sent to schools – Friday 3rd July 2020
School Coordinators will be emailed details for registration of entries for the 2020 Science & Technology Fair.
All entries will be submitted online via a link from the Science Fair Coordinator
There are three ways to submit your entry
- Video of your presentation board with voice over
- PowerPoint/Google Slides presentation with voice over/notes pages
- PDF presentation poster with written page
Entries Close – Friday 14th August 2020
Close off for entries. All entries MUST be in by this time.
Judging online begins Monday 24th August 2020
Unfortunately this year due to COVID 19 we will not be using Forum North for displaying the exhibits. However the committee is working on other opportunities to show the exhibits and to celebrate and recognise all the entries that are submitted this year.

Future Science Fair Dates
The 2021 Fair will be held at Forum North, 23rd to 26th August 2021
The 2022 Fair will be held at Forum North, 29th August to 1st September 2022
