Due to Aotearoa New Zealand going into lockdown, the Science Fair Committee has sadly had to postpone the Science Fair. We have not been able to rebook Forum North, and so we have now decided instead to run the 2021 Fair online and to ask students to send us a digital submission, similar to our approach last year. We are very keen to try to run the fair in some capacity as the students have put in a lot of time and effort. Please bear with us as we strive to find a way forward.
Thank you for having already registered your exhibits for the Fair. What we would like now is for you to send us the exhibits in a digital format. You may choose one of the following three formats to submit your students’ exhibits online:
1. A video of the presentation board with voice over
2. A PowerPoint/Google Slides presentation with voice over/notes pages
3. A .pdf presentation poster with written notes/page
The closing date for entries is still to be determined and will be based on giving students a two week period to prepare their exhibits, following a return to at least COVID Level 2. This should give students time to return to school and collect their boards, if necessary, and then to prepare their exhibit in one of the digital formats.
